Community education classes, offered by a school district or college, provide an affordable way to learn to dance.   Paula Marie teaches ballroom dance community ed classes through the North Kansas City School district.  Call 816-413-5494 for more information or to enroll.    The beginner course includes 16 hours of instruction for only $99 per couple!

Tim Stark has been seen playing KC's best night spots including The Beaumont Club, The Hurricane, Davey's Uptown, Grand Emporium, the VooDoo Lounge, and Uptown Theater with his bands, Blackout Velvet & Front Til Thursday.  Now the 2 bands have merged and the new band name is Blackout Thursday! 

 Lead guitarist and singer, Tim Stark, was honored wtih Banzai Magazine's "outstanding guitarist" award for 2007.

Ballroom Dance Music CD "Royalty Free"

Our very own Tim Stark of Studio 921 Recording has produced an 18 song CD of beautiful instrumental ballroom dance music, "Ballroom Expressions".  Each song is titled as to what kind of dance it's for.  Excellent for beginners!  $15 (plus shipping and handling)

Included in the purchase price,  professional dance instructors may request the author's written permission to use any of the music from "Ballroom Expressions" royalty free to produce instructional DVDs for resale, as well as for dance lessons and events.
